Supporters unlikely to desert Israeli PM, but his Likud party may suffer in coming polls

Israel's Attorney-General Avichai Mandelblit has decided to indict Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for corruption, fraud and breach of trust.

The most serious of the accusations against the Prime Minister is that of accepting bribes-one of the gravest offences an elected official can commit, according to Israeli law. It carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
