Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong made some important changes in his Cabinet reshuffle in July.
One was to expand the Ministry of Trade and Industry from Oct 1 to also include energy. Another was to appoint Manpower Minister Tan See Leng to a new position as Minister for Trade and Industry (Energy and Industry), where one of his top priorities will be to address soaring energy costs resulting from the war in Iran.
