Maid to measure – enough? It may take more than MOM's move to better match helpers to employers

MOM measures with more accurate hiring information will help reduce terminated maid contracts. But employers must do their bit, too.

Over the course of a year, Madam Vega has already seen the departures of three maids, and is on the verge of letting go a fourth.

The first, after working for Madam Vega's family of four for three years, was caught stealing. The other two went home because of personal issues after being employed for six months and one month, respectively.
