Viral image-editing app has privacy experts concerned about its access and usage of data

Movie stars, television hosts and many others have done it: Post photos of themselves looking old, after using FaceApp to edit their selfies.

The viral app, created by a Russian start-up, topped the charts on Google Play and the App Store over the past week. More than 12 million have downloaded it since July 10. A Forbes report said the app now owns access to more than 150 million faces and names.
