So while the Ministry of Education (MOE) has taken steps to cut back on the over-emphasis on pen-and-paper assessment to free up curriculum time, this does not mean the end of assessment. Indeed, schools can consider having other meaningful forms of assessment, such as graded projects or graded portfolio of works, that go beyond traditional exams and tests.
