Your picture: There's a red moon on the wane

COURTESY OF A. KANNAN

An almost full moon seen at 6am yesterday, the 15th day of the Chinese New Year.

Some families would have marked the day, known commonly by its Hokkien name chap goh mei, by having dinner together.

The moon, seen here in a photo taken from Woodlands Avenue 2, often appears red or orange in colour when low in the sky.
