Pollution from diesel motors an issue too
I am glad the authorities are taking steps to curb emissions from diesel cars and taxis. What about emissions from diesel motors used in the construction of houses?
I was subjected to bad air pollution for three weeks from diesel engines just metres away from my house. I contacted the National Environment Agency (NEA) but was told the fumes emitted fell within permissible limits. I hope NEA will have some form of measurement, inspection and control of emissions from diesel motors.

Why exclude those over 60 from learning a sport?
I came across an advertisement to teach people tennis, with an age limit of 60.
This seems to run counter to the good efforts being made by the Government to create awareness of ageist bias and to nudge a mindset change in companies.

Reduce use of pump and spray packaging
I am glad the moves to reduce the usage of plastics are making headway (Over 90% of customers bring own bags after mandatory 5-cent charge for plastic bags: NEA survey, Aug 30).
What is stopping us from doing the same with pump and spray packaging? Perhaps an outright tax on pump and spray packaging will not only reduce plastic waste, but also stimulate demand for refill packs which are cheaper by volume, reducing costs overall.
