At Block 1A in Eunos Crescent, there is often a pile of clothes strewn on the floor beside the textile recycling bin.
Usually, I message the recycling company on WhatsApp, attaching a photo, but it takes days for it to collect the pile. It is an eyesore and a source of embarrassment when tourists or other residents pass by the bin and comment that the town is untidy.
The tardiness in collection may also discourage people from their recycling efforts as the trouble they have taken seems unappreciated. The situation may worsen with the expected spring cleaning for the coming Chinese New Year.
I hope those managing the recycling efforts will resolve the issue. A remote camera installed in the area would help the firm assess the situation better.
