Tomorrow, the British Parliament in London is almost certain to reject the separation deal that Prime Minister Theresa May painstakingly negotiated with the European Union, notwithstanding the fact that all European governments have warned that no alternative deal is on offer.

Nothing better illustrates the unreal current condition of the country, which used to be a byword for political stability.
