A string of controversial images and videos has brought the shadier parts of social news aggregator Reddit to the fore in recent weeks.

NoMorals, a forum dedicated to making fun of mutilated or dead people including children, and animals, was reported by online news site Motherboard on March 6 as actively promoting disturbing content.
