In Singapore, there is a "collective effort" put in place by the Government and community groups in helping drug abusers quit their addiction and reintegrate into society.
These efforts come in different ways, services and degrees of support, such as training befrienders to help these individuals, job incentive schemes to encourage employers to hire them, and offers of study and training opportunities to give them another chance.
