SYDNEY - Days after winning the federal election in 2022, Australia’s Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who was about to fly to Japan for his first overseas visit as leader, took a well-deserved night off.

In his precious few hours of downtime, Mr Albanese chose to make a quiet visit on a Sunday night to a theatre, where he and his partner, Ms Jodie Haydon, watched a new Australian play.
