In China’s high-tech society today, much of a Chinese citizen’s daily life invariably goes through smartphones and “super-apps” like WeChat and Meituan that enable many conveniences.

These include making food orders, renting a bicycle, booking holidays, hailing a taxi ride, buying movie tickets and sending parcels.
