We have a beloved Christmas tradition in my family. Every year, in the lead-up to Christmas, we go around asking one another: “So what do you want for Christmas?”

“Nothing!” is the inevitable reply. It has been years since any of us has been able to come up with something that (1) we want but don’t already own, and (2) is affordable enough to be a non-absurd request.
