A poem for a divided nation
During the inauguration of US President Joe Biden on Wednesday, the nation's first-ever youth poet laureate Amanda Gorman read her poem, The Hill We Climb. The 22-year-old said she wrote the poem about national unity on the night rioters stormed the US Capitol on Jan 6. Here is the full text of the inaugural poem:
