On Valentine’s Day, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Lawrence Wong delivered a Budget package packed with heart.

In an era of cost increases stemming from the two-step hike in the goods and services tax (GST) as well as higher inflation, DPM Wong enhanced the Assurance Package (AP) – which provides transitional support to all Singaporeans to defray the impact of the GST increase – by $3 billion to $9.6 billion.
