Singaporean golfer Shannon Tan is in buoyant mood as she works to further improve on her game after a third-placed finish in Morocco in her first Ladies European Tour event of the season.

Chinese teenager Lin Shidong too is set for loftier heights after rising to the world No. 1 ranking by winning three titles at the Singapore Smash to cement his status as table tennis’ next big thing.

Meanwhile, Liverpool-born footballer Perry Ng has begun the process to attain Singapore citizenship which will see the defender don the Lions jersey one day.
