SINGAPORE - Singaporeans love food and finding out about the best places to eat.

In a first-ever bilingual video series between The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao, hosts Renee Poh and Lee Yu Ting recommend different food places in a four-episode series that focuses on flavours.

In the first episode on Monday (March 16), they work up a sweat with spicy food at Machan's Kitchen and Lao Si Chuan Restaurant.

Aside from reviewing the food and drinks, the hosts also speak to the owners of the respective eateries to find out more about the flavours of the dishes.
