News Night's top story on Friday (Feb 26) - the wild boar believed to have been involved in a number of attacks in the past week has been caught after a dramatic chase, and put down because of its aggressive behaviour.

Separately, the Ministry of Defence announced that a Singapore Armed Forces regular serviceman has died after completing his own physical training at Kranji Camp.

Also making the news - former actor Ng Aik Leong, better known as Huang Yiliang, has been sentenced to 10 months' imprisonment for assaulting a Bangladeshi worker in 2018.
