Wear a wig, have a ball

Wondering how to express your love for football this World Cup? Here is a tip: Just wig it.

Before the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia kicked off yesterday with the hosts taking on Saudi Arabia in the first game of the month-long competition, staff at a workshop in Qingdao, in Shandong province, China, were busy making colourful wigs for football fans and supporters worldwide.

Over the years, fans have expressed their love of the game in wild ways - by wearing patriotic nail polish, dressing up their dogs in jerseys and even showing their passion under the sheets with Brazil-inspired condoms at the 2014 World Cup, reported Agence France-Presse.
