Mount Gamalama spewing volcanic ash on the eastern Indonesian island of Ternate, North Maluku province, yesterday. The ash cloud from the erupting volcano reached a height of 1,000m, disrupting services at the Sultan Babullah airport for about 2-1/2 hours, according to an Indonesian official.
