A school of acrylic fish - 999 of them, to be exact - were seen "swimming" in formation near Bondi Beach in Sydney yesterday.
Named Swirling Surround, the creation by Australian artist Jane Cowie is part of the Sculpture by the Sea exhibition taking place along the coastal walk from Bondi Beach to Tamarama Beach.
The annual exhibition marks its 21st birthday this year, and the latest edition features works by 104 artists from Australia and around the world.
The artworks on display include What A Tasty Looking Burger - a giant sculpture of a burger with hooks attached - by Australian artist James Dive, as well as a huge cyborg-like mosquito sculpture called Rangerer by Chinese artist Xia Hang.
The exhibition began yesterday and will run until Nov 5.
