No pillow talk, just 'ruffled feathers'

It may look like a giant slumber party but there was no time for sleep for those who joined in the fun on the seventh annual International Pillow Fight Day last Saturday.

These participants in Liberty Square, Taipei, were among enthusiasts from around the world who took part in the event organised by the "urban playground movement", a loose network of event organisers who aim to encourage people to use and celebrate public spaces in cities worldwide.

International Pillow Fight Day attracts tens of thousands of participants in more than 100 cities each year, with mass pillow fights taking place in cities like London, Berlin, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Kuala Lumpur this year.
