In Pictures: The Swasthani Brata Katha festival

The Swasthani Brata Katha is a Hindu folk tale that is read everyday by devotees during its month-long festival. It consists of 31 chapters and tells the story of the lives of various deities. At the festival's conclusion, devotees offer prayers and perform bathing rituals.
