Parts of Tanjong Malang, a heritage site that includes Parsi grave ruins and historical buildings, will make way for the future Prince Edward MRT station. The Tanjong Pagar site dates back to Singapore's colonial era, and has been described as "one of the most important places in the history of early 19th-century Singapore".
