Gotta catch them all on the phone

Hundreds of fans gathering to watch the Pokemon Go mascot Pikachu parading during a promotional event at Changi Airport's Terminal 3 yesterday.

The 10 life-size dancing Pikachu kicked off the airport's Pokemon-themed year-end festivities.

At the T3 departure hall, visitors were treated to a light show with music and dancing trees as soft "snow" fell.

A 7m-tall Pikachu, the airport's largest character installation to date, is the centrepiece of the display, which includes a gingerbread house, Santa's workshop and Mrs Claus' confectionery.

At Terminal 2's departure hall, three life-size Snorlax lounge in the Snorlax Garden.

Visitors can also go on a Poke Trail to hunt for 26 Pokemons at various locations at the airport for a chance to win exclusive Pokemon merchandise. You can scan the QR code at each character's location to find out more about the pocket monsters.

The special installations and activities at Changi airport will be available from now till Feb 11.
