Getting into the heart of S'pore

A year-long journey to map the places held dear by Singaporeans ends with a flourish in a festival which starts today and ends on Sunday.

A highlight of the SG Heart Map Festival @ Float is a giant dome, inside which visitors can watch William Chan's film, A Beautiful Day, and immerse themselves in the personal stories contributed to the project.

Outside, visitors can follow an animated journey of the 50 SG Heart Map places from day to night projected on its exterior.

There will also be a nightly light and pyro-musical show, outdoor movie screenings and food street - all taking place against the Singapore city skyline.

The festival promises a larger-than-life experience as visitors explore the places and stories of Singapore cherished and shared by Singaporeans to mark the country's Golden Jubilee.
