Dead on target

Calamita Cosmica (Cosmic Magnet in English) is a 28m-long sculpture created by Gino de Dominicis.

Except for the nose, it is a perfect scaled model of the human skeleton, said travel website Amusing Planet.

You can admire this piece at Forte Belvedere, where it is part of the exhibition "Ytalia. Energia, Pensiero, Bellezza. Tutto e connesso" in Florence, Italy.

The giant was unveiled in 1990 in Grenoble, France. It has toured Europe for a number of years, visiting places such as Versailles in France, Hornu in Belgium, and even the artist's home town, Ancona, in Italy.

The Florence exhibition will run until Oct 1.
