Clearly, this ride is tops

The Skyslide at the US Bank Tower in Los Angeles takes thrill rides to new heights. The outdoor slide, which is positioned some 300m above downtown Los Angeles, is part of Skyspace LA, a multi-level experience spread across four floors of the skyscraper.

Made of 3cm-thick clear glass, the Skyslide is about 1m wide and 13m long. Visitors get to experience unparalleled views as they glide from the 70th to the 69th floor, like Ms Patricia Rodriguez, 49, in the picture. In addition to the slide, Skyspace will host an open-air observation deck. It will be California's tallest and have panoramic, 360-degree views of Los Angeles. The attraction opens on Saturday. The admission fee is US$25 (S$34).
