These constructions workers are going to great lengths for power.
They are on a section of a new ultra-high-voltage direct current power transmission link that will deliver electricity over a great distance from China's western areas to the east.
The link, starting from Lingzhou in Ningxia region to Shaoxing in Zhejiang province, goes through six provinces with a length of 1,723km.
Project manager Qiao Linjie said his team was striving to finish the link two months ahead of the December deadline. The project will come into operation in April next year, he added.
