A jump ahead of the rest

Thailand's "Spin Boy" Montree Bouwdok, 20, wowing the crowd during the style competition finals of the Asian Parkour Championships at Star Vista yesterday.

The competition, the first Asian championships, was organised by Parkour Singapore.

Open to men, women, and children under the age of 15, the competition attracted 150 participants from more than 11 countries, such as the United States, Britain, Australia, Indonesia, China and Japan.

Mr Bouwdok was the winner of the style category, while Australia's Brodie Pawson came in first in the men's speed run finals.
