Dog lovers have yet another proof that canines make better pets than felines.
In this YouTube video, a man is seen swimming in a lake while his dog sits watching him from dry land. Deciding to play a little prank on his dog, the man submerges himself into the water and remains still. After only a mere two seconds, the dog leaps into the water, uses its mouth to grab onto the man's hand, and pulls him all the way to shore.
Although the man is not really in any danger, his pet's show of loyalty reflects why dogs are known as man's best friend.
The YouTube video has already hit over 3.7 million views since it was posted in late January this year.
