When does care for my parents segue into control?

As my parents begin to face more challenging health issues, I'm faced with a dilemma: Where do I draw the line between being attentive and intrusive?

The call came while I was stuck in the evening rush hour three weeks ago. My dad had blacked out on the MRT on the way home from work. Luckily, a few good Samaritans had gone swiftly to his aid.

The MRT station manager who called assured me that my father was in good hands, but hinted that he would need further medical attention after we picked him up.
