Auction house Phillips (in association with Bacs & Russo) chalked up a world record two years ago when it sold a Paul Newman Rolex Daytona owned by the late actor for a staggering US$17.75 million.

Not surprisingly, all eyes are now set on another Rolex to be auctioned by Phillips next month: a GMT-Master worn by Hollywood actor Marlon Brando in Francis Ford Coppola's celebrated 1979 Vietnam War epic Apocalypse Now.
