Sri Panwa, a hilltop resort at the south- eastern tip of Phuket, is launching a new section of 30 pool suites and penthouses called The Habita this month.

Each of the new luxury suites and penthouses has its own infinity swimming pool with sweeping views of the Andaman Sea.

The property also has a waterfall pool, a kids' pool and a spa.

To celebrate its launch, The Habita is offering stays for two from US$550 (S$788).

The offer is valid for stays from April 17 to Oct 31.

Travel service and deals provider Changi Recommends has a new offering - Flight Watch, which pushes real-time flight updates to travellers' phones via SMS.

Travellerscan enter the flight number, departure or arrival date and their phone number at the website and receive flight updates - including check-in counter and boarding gate information, arrival gate and baggage belt details.

The service applies only to flights arriving and departing from Changi Airport.

From March 27, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will increase its flights to Bangkok from five to six a day. The additional flight, which will leave Singapore at 5.35pm and return from the Thai capital at 8.05pm, will add 2,000 seats a week to the route.

From March 27 to Oct 29, the airline will also increase its flights from Singapore to Colombo, Sri Lanka, from seven to 10 a week. Flights to Milan will go up from five to six a week, with two flights that will continue on to Barcelona.

Other increases include five weekly flights to Rome between June 25 and July 30, up from three. From June 23 to Sept 4, services to Sydney will increase to 35 flights each week.

An additional flight will be added on the route to Ahmedabad, India between April 30 and June 4, and the route to Mumbai between April 21 and June 6. SIA will start operating thrice-weekly flights to Dusseldorf, Germany, from July 21.
