The roar of the oversized fan on the back of the air boat subsides and Aboriginal guide Kurt Williamson steers the flat-bottomed boat beside a resting saltwater crocodile endearingly named Bone-breaker.
To my horror, Mr Williamson leaps out of the boat and strides through the knee-deep water before pouncing. He has caught a baby crocodile, around 30cm long.
