Thailand-based hotel management company Onyx Hospitality Group has launched its Amari brand across the Causeway.

The new 242-room Amari Johor Bahru is located in the heart of the city centre, and houses a food gallery, spa, an all-day restaurant and meeting spaces.

The hotel has six Deluxe Pool Access rooms that come with private terraces, as well as spa-inspired bathrooms in all its rooms.

Prices start at $77 for a one-night stay in the Superior King Room.

From now until May 31, UOB cardmembers can enjoy up to 25 per cent off Jet Airways fares. The discount is valid for travel from June 7, for flights departing from Singapore.

Those who book economy fares get 10 per cent off, while premier and first-class passengers enjoy 15 and 25 per cent off respectively.

The discounts are valid only for bookings made on and on the Jet Airways app.

Tomorrow is the last day to book discounted business-class fares for Qatar Airways. The airline is offering discounts of up to 25 per cent, for travel from now until June 21.

With the discount, business-class fares start at $2,650 to Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates, from $3,335 to Oslo, from $4,120 to Warsaw, from $5,495 to London, and from $6,850 to New York.

Emirates is offering promotional fares for its business and economy flights to Europe till Wednesday, valid for travel until Dec 31.

All-inclusive economy fares start from $1,019 to Athens, from $1,059 to Amsterdam, from $1,109 to Paris and Frankfurt, and from $1,119 to Milan.

All-inclusive business class fares start from $5,109 to Milan, from $5,159 to Paris, from $5,199 to Barcelona, from $5,369 to London, and from $5,469 to Manchester.
