The eco-friendly Element Kuala Lumpur lets travellers conveniently enjoy the city’s sights and sounds while minimising their carbon footprint.

It might be apparent that location is an important factor when it comes to a traveller’s itinerary since most prefer to save on travelling time between attractions by staying close to places of interest.  But did you know that an increasing number of travellers also pick hotels for their green practices too?

The findings are supported by results are from two surveys done by a hospitality group and Trip Advisor respectively,  that looked into the preferences and practices of travellers.

Sustainability from the start

Designed to be green from the ground up, Element Kuala Lumpur elevates  the city's hospitality standards in sustainable tourism.

At 275-metre, Element Kuala Lumpur is the tallest hotel with green features in Malaysia.

Element Kuala Lumpur is thoughtfully designed by internationally-acclaimed architects from Foster+Partners, employing the use of various smart eco-friendly technologies.

The hotel is Green Building Index-certified with eco-friendly design features such as a rainwater harvesting system, indoor air quality CO2 monitor and energy-efficient LED lighting.

Kitchenettes in the hotel’s suites are equipped with energy-efficient appliances such as induction cooker, refrigerator and dishwasher. Additionally, they are installed with a National Sanitation Foundation-certified filtered water system, so guests can consume water safely from the tap, and reduce the use of plastic bottled water.

Spacious rooms

Element Kuala Lumpur features 252 well-appointed rooms with clean, simple and spacious design. The rooms take a decidedly natural colour palette to reflect its inspiration from nature.

 The hotel comprises 132 stylish studio and skyline studio units (38m2  to 40m2), and 120 one-bedroom suites and one-bedroom skyline suites (63m2 to 82m2) ,  two-bedroom suites (110m2 to 125m2) and two-bedroom executive suites (152m2).

All rooms are equipped with smart television sets, microwaves and with coffee and tea facilities for convenience as you can expect from a world-class hotel.

 If you are travelling in larger groups or staying for an extended period, you will appreciate the available cooking facilities, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher in the suites too.

Taking a page from Westin Hotel and Resort's sense of renewal, Element Hotel Kuala Lumpur provides guests the option to live well and eat well during their stay.

With international and popular shopping malls such as Suria KLCC and Avenue K in close proximity, travellers will find it easy to indulge in a spot of shopping.   The contemporary malls are accessible by train as the hotel is right next to the Ampang Park LRT.
