SINGAPORE - Mr Cheang Qing Xin and Ms Kelly Khiew are used to people being sceptical of their dreams.

When they wanted to start a rock-climbing business in Taiwan, fellow climbers warned that they would lose all their money. When they found an old house to refurbish for their business, people saw how derelict the house was and said they were nuts.
