Youth tour operator Contiki is offering last-minute deals of up to 30 per cent off for travellers aged 18 to 35.
For example, a 14-day Wild Western tour to California, Arizona and Nevada in the United States, departing on Dec 20, now costs US$2,019 (S$2,738), down from US$2,375. Travellers must book before Sept 21.
A six-day Rock and Red tour to the Northern Territory in Australia, which includes a trip to Uluru, departing on Oct 3, now costs US$799, down from US$939. Travellers must book before Sept 26.

PAY WITH MASTERCARD AT COMO AND HELP LOCAL COMMUNITIES
From next month to the end of the year, guests at Como Hotels and Resorts can contribute to local communities by using a Mastercard credit or debit card to settle their bills.
For every such transaction at the group's 13 properties - which include the Como Shambhala Estate wellness resort in Bali (pictured) and the Como Metropolitan London hotel - US$25 (S$34) will be donated to Mastercard's Purchase with Purpose programme. This programme benefits community organisations and schools in each destination.
This is the seventh year of the global partnership between Como and Mastercard. To date, the initiative has raised more than US$280,000 for more than 6,000 beneficiaries.

PLAY ONLINE GAME TO WIN ROUND-THE-WORLD TRIP
Hotel brand Radisson Blu has launched an interactive online game called Paper City that gives players a chance to win a trip around the world.
Players have to identify five destinations around the world that make up a fictional Paper City. They will be guided by clues provided in the game.
After they correctly identify the destinations, they can register for a contest and submit a brief essay describing their dream destination. This will give them a chance to win a trip that will include up to five destinations where a Radisson Blu hotel is located.
