BANYAN TREE IN MOROCCO

On Sept 1, Banyan Tree Hotels & Resorts will mark its first venture into the Mediterranean and Africa with the opening of Banyan Tree Tamouda Bay in Morocco.

It will be the country's first all- inclusive pool villa resort and first destination spa resort.

It features four restaurants; 24-hour in-villa dining; a full service spa with Moroccan-inspired treatments and a hammam; and 92 luxury pool villas with Moroccan influenced architecture.

Ranging from 200 to 423 sq m in size, each villa includes a lush garden, private pool and views of the Mediterranean sea. Some have direct access to the beach.

To celebrate the opening of the resort, guests can choose between two offers: a Night On Us - a complimentary night's stay with every three nights booked from Sept 1 till Oct 31; or Credit Goes To You, where guests will receive US$100 (S$135) worth of credits a villa a night for use in the resort's F&B outlets and spa treatments during their stay, valid till Oct 31.

AIRFARE DEALS ON ETIHAD

NEW SCOOT FLIGHTS TO DALIAN

Starting Oct 30, low-cost, long-haul carrier Scoot will launch twice-weekly flights between Singapore and Dalian, China, via Qingdao.

This replaces its existing Singapore-Qingdao-Shenyang service. Scoot will then begin direct service between Singapore and Shenyang three times a week.

Said to be one of China's most romantic cities, Dalian is a major coastal city, seaport and tourist hot spot known for its beaches, Dalian Forest Zoo and Laohutan Ocean Park.

To coincide with the launch, Scoot is offering promotional fares till 11.59pm tomorrow.

One-way economy FLY fares are $108 to Dalian and $138 to Shenyang, including taxes.
