Luxury travel agency Urbane Nomads has a new equestrian-themed itinerary to Turkey which focuses on the nomadic culture and history of the Ottoman Turks.

The itinerary includes Ottoman- style horseback archery lessons; a journey to eastern Turkey to watch a game of cirit, an aerobatic, stick-throwing game played on horseback; and tours of Istanbul.

Keio Plaza Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo, is celebrating all things Alice In Wonderland this month, in honour of the 150th anniversary of the publication of Lewis Carroll's classic novel.

Events include an exhibition of artwork from Children's Room Of Alice, the Japanese picture book translated by Mizuhito Kanehara and illustrated by Japanese embroidery artist Asami Kiyokawa, in the hotel lobby and art lounge Duet.
