Tonic water maker Fever-Tree branches out

SINGAPORE - A gentle of caress of vanilla, tangy orange and spice - these are the flavours of a new cola that can be used as a mixer for brown spirits such as whisky, cognac and dark rums.
British premium soda label Fever-Tree, best known for its artisanal tonic water range, released its latest cola in Europe last week.
The mixer label currently has 11 sodas in its range, including tonic water, ginger ale and ginger beer, and it is developing more mixers for the growing market.
In this video, co-founder Tim Warrillow tells The Straits Times why a mixer, such as tonic water, is just as important, if not more, as the spirit itself.
After all, a gin and tonic is one part gin to three parts tonic water.
