Spice World, the latest hotpot chain from China to open here, has some bizarre offerings. It is one of the first - if not the first - to introduce to Singapore something that is apparently a thing among Chinese hotpot restaurants.

The Premium Barbie Wagyu Beef ($38.90) is a doll in a meat dress, with thin slices of beef draped over it so that they form a gown. As you cook the meat in the hotpot, you start to undress the doll until it is bare. If that bothers you, leave some slices behind to protect its modesty.
