There is much life in Singapore's neighbourhood shops - each has its own story to tell, but most are in danger of being eclipsed, eventually forgotten

When I got home one evening after work, there was a lovely orange glow on the kitchen counter.

Going to check it out, I found that it was a little makeshift candle stand that B had made.
