Ex-gang member and Mayans M.C. co-creator Elgin James says the drama about an outlaw motorcycle gang is an authentic portrayal of the community's struggles

Four years after the final episode of Sons Of Anarchy (2008 to 2014) - the cult biker drama dubbed "Hamlet On Harleys" because of its Shakespearean overtones - the series' creator, Kurt Sutter, has come up with a long-awaited spin-off.

Airing on Wednesdays at 10pm on FX (Singtel TV channel 310 and StarHub TV channel 507) and streaming on Fox+, Mayans M.C. is another family drama revolving around an outlaw motorcycle gang - this time, a Latino one operating along the Mexico-California border.
