The displays are 'lit', but recent misuse has sparked discussion

Only the biggest Grinch in town would hate fireworks displays.

After all, what's not to like about a spectacular burst of colour that make an Insta-perfect shot? Surely it leaves everyone feeling warm, fuzzy and festive inside.
