Spicy surprises

Some dishes from Indonesian restaurant Sama Sama might be unfamiliar, but they are worth having again

Because of the proximity between Singapore and Sumatra, diners here are probably more familiar with the Sumatran style of Indonesian cooking, which is generally more spicy due to chilli, than with dishes from other parts of the archipelago.

So many dishes at Sama Sama by Tok Tok, an Indonesian restaurant that opened in Jewel Changi Airport in April, may be new to many.
