Special needs kids who dance for joy

Minds students go through a specialised curriculum designed by the Singapore Dance Theatre and will present a short performance next month

In the studio of Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT), children chatter excitedly amid the jaunty piano tune and merry ringing of bells playing from the sound system.

Their parents stand outside, eagerly watching and recording their children adopting ballet positions, performing rises and plies.
