Some airlines are allowing their female cabin crew to don trousers or go without make-up, but experts say the decision depends on the image carriers want to project

The next time you take a flight, do not be surprised if the stewardess serving you is wearing trousers and not wearing lipstick, foundation or mascara on her face.

More airlines now allow female cabin crew to go without make-up while on duty and don trousers as part of their uniform, in a bid to offer them greater comfort and more choice in expressing themselves at work.
